Tulip Tour
The impressive capital Amsterdam, the historic cities of Haarlem, Leiden, Gouda and modern Rotterdam.
The unique Amsterdam canals, the colorful splendor of the Dutch tulip fields, the windmills, the typical Dutch clogs and not to forget the delicious Dutch cheese. You will have the chance to see Rotterdam, Europe’s largest seaport. Or you can visit the wonderful museums and/or the largest and most luxurious castle in the Netherlands.
Of course, a visit to the Keukenhof in Lisse should not be missed in your Tulpentour Holland. In addition, the unique bicycle tour through the Dutch tulip fields is an experience you will never forget. On your bike you will discover the Zaanse Schans and the Kinderdijk. The latter is on the Unesco World Heritage List because of its unique area and of course the windmills. In short, on your bike you will experience Holland at its best!
On board the Ship Josefien you will be introduced to modern Dutch cuisine and eat mainly organic, fair trade and delicious regional food.
Hanseatic cities route along the IJssel
The IJssel is one of the most beautiful rivers in the Netherlands and takes you past many historic Hanseatic cities and picturesque and cozy villages. Josefien can moor in towns and cities such as: Zutphen, Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle.
Zuiderzee Route
Along the former Zuiderzee (now the IJsselmeer and Markenmeer) are many picturesque villages and towns. Once they were by the sea, now protected behind dikes by the fresh water of the IJsselmeer. These places still contain traces of a rich history and are connected by beautiful bicycle routes. We can put together a route for you along port towns such as: Enkhuizen, Medemblik, Stavoren, Makkum, Lemmer, Urk Hoorn, Volendam, Lelystad, Marken and Muiden.
