This unique area is home to more than 10,000 rare plant and animal species and offers a breathtaking landscape of sandbanks, islands, and pristine nature. During the Wadden Weeks, you will visit several of the five inhabited islands and experience the unique phenomenon of tidal flats.

The Wadden Sea is known for its dynamism. Sometimes the water is mirror-smooth, while at other times a strong storm shapes the landscape. The channels between the sandbanks have strong currents due to the constant influence of ebb and flow. These natural elements form the charm of the Wadden Sea and make every trip unique.
Flexible Itinerary Tailored to Weather and Tides
Because the Wadden Sea is constantly changing, we adjust the route just before departure according to the weather conditions and tides. The goal is to visit three of the Wadden Islands and, if conditions permit, to let the ship Josefien settle on a sandbank.
The Unique Experience of Tidal Flats
Tidal flats are one of the most extraordinary experiences the Wadden Sea has to offer. At high tide, the ship is anchored on a sandbank, after which the water slowly recedes with the ebb, leaving the ship completely dry on the seabed. At this moment, you can disembark and take a walk on the bottom of the Wadden Sea, a unique experience that is almost impossible anywhere else in the world. When the water returns with the tide, the ship begins to float again and continues its journey.

This trip can be booked for € 1.275,- per person based on 2 people per cabin. This includes 9% VAT and tourist tax. For this, you will receive:
- a comfortable twin cabin with private shower and toilet
- made-up beds, towels, shampoo, soap, and water bottles
- a luxurious breakfast and lunch (packed for on the go)
- a delicious three-course dinner every evening, except for one evening when you can dine out

- Mini fridge for the cabin, 6-liter capacity, € 5 per day
- Cancellation insurance, 6% of the base amount. You can cancel up to the departure date. You will receive your payment back, except for the cancellation insurance
- Single supplement: If you wish to book a twin cabin for yourself, you will pay a 35% surcharge on the base amount
